Residential Design Services

Do you want the benefit of having an interior designer on your next home project? Do you need another set of eyes and ideas for making the next remodeling change? Do you just need a fresh color palette on the walls in your house? How about someone to lay out the furniture in your space on paper, and help you not only choose, but buy any new pieces? Is your home too dim or too bright? I can help—I think lighting is awesome! I can even help you decided where to hang art and where you might get some great art pieces to give your home that extra pièce de résistance. Smaller jobs are completed for the flat fees listed to the right. Larger jobs will be quoted on a per-project basis.

Custom Paint Color Palette

I’ll take into account existing pieces (furniture, art, etc.) and other architectural elements, and combine them with your taste and preferences to create a customized paint palette. You’ll get two palette sets to choose from, with one round of tweaks/changes included.

$150

Single Room Layout

Using measurements you’ve taken of the room, I’ll make a floor plan layout in AutoCAD, including any existing pieces and incorporating any new pieces you’ve got your eye on, to create flow, comfort, and functionality. One round of tweaks/changes are included.

$250

3D Walk Through (B&W version)

Once a floor plan has been created, pulling it up into a 3D rendering is almost like magic. In other words, it allows for easier understanding of the layout and how it will look and function. But, this rendering is strictly for visualization of the space. No finishes or colors will be included.

$300

Deluxe 3D Rendering

This version is the ultimate rendering where colors and materials are added to the basic, black and white version, to give a better overall view of the look and style of the room.

$500

Finish Selection, Single Room

One of the greatest (and worst) things about interior design is all the options. Let me curate selections of flooring, carpet, laminates, wallpaper(s), countertop material, wood and wood-tones, and anything else appropriate to the space, for you. You’ll get actual, physical samples to look at in your house to make sure they are exactly as expected. One round of changes/tweaks are included.

$500

Lighting Suggestions, Single Room

I can’t help it, I absolutely love lighting. It’s one of the most under-used elements in any space. Lighting should be layered, providing function, mood, and sparkle. I’ll audit your room, listen to your needs, and give you options for a well-lit space.

$300

Art Selections/Placement/Groupings

As a fine artist (as well as an interior designer), I firmly believe in the importance of art in a house. It’s like the jewelry you add that pulls your outfit together and gives it personality. Art groupings afford the opportunity to showcase family photos and/or art you’ve collected on travels—it tells your story. I can comb through your collection (and/or recommend additions) and advise where and how to hang and group items for maximum impact and style.

$200

Review House Plans

Would you like a trained eye (who can also speak “architect”) to look at remodeling plans? Having a second set of eyes to look over plans and help you better understand them can be useful, especially since remodeling can be such a big undertaking.

$150

Furniture Consultation/Selection/Ordering

This is one thing I can’t give you a flat fee on, because it’s dependent on the number of pieces you’re looking for and how many rooms you’d like to outfit. As a professional designer, I have access to some brands that are to-the-trade only, for example. We’ll have to talk about what you have in mind to figure out a price.
